Micah
The Book of Micah is a collection of prophecies by one of the twelve minor prophets, Micah, who lived in the southern kingdom of Judah around 700 BCE and whose name means, “Who is like Yahweh?” In it, he condemns Israel and Judah, prophecies judgement and destruction of the nations, and restoration and redemption.
Most notably, Micah prophesies the coming of a righteous ruler from Bethlehem who will shepherd God's people and establish peace.
