The General Epistle of Jude

QUICK SUMMARY

The General Epistle of Jude is the penultimate book of the New Testament and Holy Bible. Attributed to Jude, the brother of James the Just, and possible of Jesus as well, it aggressively warns against false teachers who distort the truth and were seen as a threat to the early Christian church. This opponents were not true Christians, though they were members of the Christian community. The reader is assured that these people will be judged by God.

Jude urges to "contend for the faith;" addresses Sodom and Gomorrah; tells of Satan and Michael the Archangel fighting over the body of Moses; and quotes from the Book of Enoch.
